Board appointment

Mr George William (Bill) Howe has joined Bateman Project Holdings Limited as Executive Director responsible for its worldwide oil, gas and energy activities. He will also lead BATEMAN’s water business activities as Chairman of Bateman Water, the subsidiary arising from the merging of Bateman Water Treatment (Pty) Ltd and Aquafund (Pty) Ltd.

Howe joins BATEMAN after 23 years with the Foster Wheeler group. The past three years he served as a main Board Director of Foster Wheeler Energy Limited, UK, and prior to this as Managing Director of Foster Wheeler’s South African affiliate. He has a BSc (Chemical Engineering) from Birmingham University and has worked in the oil refining, gas production, water treatment and engineering contracting industries.
