Expansion to grain conveying facilities at SA Bulk Terminals

Bateman Engineered Technologies (part of the Bateman Engineering Group) has completed a ZAR7 million contract awarded by South African Bulk Terminals to install new Bateman-Redler en masse conveyors and extend two existing conveyors at Maydon Wharf, Durban, South Africa. This covered the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the conveyors and is part of the terminal’s expansion project which saw the erection of a further six new silos in 2007.

Bateman Engineering’s largest diameter JPC supplied to date

The largest-diameter Japan Pipe Conveyor (JPC) to be supplied anywhere in the world by Bateman Engineered Technologies (a division of Bateman Engineering) has been delivered to Tecno Moageira S.A. for a large alumina-production plant in northern Brazil. The JPC, the first to be supplied by Bateman Engineered Technologies to Brazil, is also one of the largest-diameter ever supplied by any company.

Bateman-Japan Pipe Conveyor for alumina plant in Brazil

Tecno Moageira S.A. of Brazil has ordered a Bateman-Japan Pipe Conveyor (JPC) that is to be installed at a large alumina-production plant in Northern Brazil.

Pneumo-Driers for Canadian projects

Bateman Engineering is supplying pneumo-drier systems to two major De Beers diamond projects in Canada: the Snap Lake and Victor Mine Recovery Projects. ­The last phase of the installation and commissioning is currently in progress, with final, handover commissioning scheduled for July 2007 for the Snap Lake units.
