Bateman Engineered Technologies (part of the Bateman Engineering Group) has received a further order for the supply of Bateman Dynamic Wet Scrubbers for Tati Nickel Mine in Dukwe, Botswana, following the successful completion, in May 2006, of an order awarded in 2005.

Bateman Engineering to supply Bagfilters to Rössing Uranium Limited

Bateman Engineering Technologies (part of the Bateman Engineering Group) was awarded a tender to supply Bateman Reverse-Pulse Jet Bagfilters to Rössing Uranium Limited. The bagfilters will be used to rehabilitate Rössing’s dust plants in the fine ore crushing plant at its facilities near Swakopmund, Namibia.

Bateman scrubbers control dust emission on De Beers mining vessels

Bateman Engineering has installed Bateman Dynamic Wet Scrubbers on two of De Beers’s deep-sea diamond-mining vessels, the MV Debmar Atlantic and the MV Peace in Africa, to minimise dust emission during the processing of diamondiferous materials.

Impala Platinum orders another Bateman-Elex electrostatic precipitator

Bateman Engineering has been awarded a contract by Impala Platinum Ltd (Implats) to supply a Bateman-Elex electrostatic precipitator (ESP) for its R800 million smelter expansion project, 20 km northwest of Rustenburg, North-West Province, South Africa. The new unit will be constructed alongside three existing Bateman-Elex ESPs.

Bateman Simatek Bagfilter cleans boiler-exhaust gas at Mondi

Bateman Engineering is currently commissioning four Bateman Simatek Bagfilters which have been installed to clean gas emissions from a new Babcock Multi-Fuel boiler at the Merebank site of Mondi Business Papers S.A. in Durban, RSA. The contract was awarded by the project’s main contractor, Babcock Engineering.
